A shipping document describing the freight, origin, destination, and handling instructions.
Consignee
The party receiving the shipment.
Consignor
The party tendering or shipping the freight.
Full Truckload (FTL)
A shipment using dedicated trailer capacity.
Less Than Truckload (LTL)
A shipment that shares trailer space with other compatible freight.
Reefer
A refrigerated trailer used for temperature-controlled freight.
Set Point
The temperature setting requested for the refrigeration unit.
Proof of Delivery (POD)
Documentation confirming that a shipment was delivered.
