- Consignee
- The party receiving the shipment.
- Consignor
- The party tendering or shipping the freight.
- Full Truckload (FTL)
- A shipment using dedicated trailer capacity.
- Less Than Truckload (LTL)
- A shipment that shares trailer space with other compatible freight.
- Reefer
- A refrigerated trailer used for temperature-controlled freight.
- Set Point
- The temperature setting requested for the refrigeration unit.
- Proof of Delivery (POD)
